- You have a clean malpractice and background history and provide an NPDB Self-Query pulled within the last 30 days
Who this fits
This locum role suits an experienced Hematology & Oncology physician who can cover both hospital campuses and provide clinic and inpatient care. The schedule is 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off, with clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, on-call coverage, and outreach for up to 6 days per month.

We are seeking an experienced Hematology Oncology physician for locum coverage providing a mix of clinic and inpatient services across two hospital campuses.
Practice HighlightsMedical Hematology/Oncology coverage -2 weeks on/ 2 weeks off - clinic hrs, 8-4
Inpatient coverage at two hospital locations
Clinic and inpatient responsibilities
Outreach coverage to nearby locations up to 6 days per month
Telehealth services available
Nursing support with 1:1 coverage
Medical imaging, lab, and pharmacy services on-site
EMR: EPIC
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Hematology & Oncology Required
Fellowship trained in Hematology & Oncology Required
Active Iowa license or active IMLC (LOQ required at name clear)
Experienced provider only Required
Must be willing to cover both hospital campuses

Clinic days: 8 per month
Patient contact hours: 6 per day
Clinic hours: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM

Appointment times: 40-minute consults, 20-minute follow-ups
Patient assessments and new treatment planning
